Strengthening China-Africa relations through media
A delegation of 18 media representatives from Ethiopia and Rwanda visited East China's Zhejiang province from Monday to Wednesday, touring cities including Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing and Huzhou to learn about the province's digital innovation, industrial development and ecological conservation.
The visit concluded with the China-Africa Media Roundtable in Hangzhou on Wednesday, where journalists and scholars from China, Ethiopia and Rwanda discussed the role of the media in promoting China-Africa exchanges under the theme "Power of Journalism and China-Africa Community with a Shared Future".
Amare Asrat, editor-in-chief of Ethiopia's FMC, said media cooperation has helped strengthen the professional capacity of African journalists and called for deeper collaboration between the two sides.
