In his speech, Michael Watson, executive publisher for history and academic books at Cambridge University Press, reviewed the century-old tradition of the Cambridge Histories series and praised the cooperation, which has made many important works widely available in the Chinese market.
Pan Qun, Asia director for Academic Publishing at Cambridge University Press, said this partnership is rooted in mutual respect and a shared belief in the value of academia.
