To celebrate the 20th year of Dragon Boat Festival folk celebrations, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, staged a diverse array of activities over the holiday.

Built around the theme "Celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in Jiaxing", the activities included dragon boat races, intangible cultural heritage showcases, traditional children's games, interactive exhibitions of fragrant sachets, zongzi-wrapping competitions, folk culture fairs at Yuehe Historic Street and high-pole boat stunt performances.

This assortment of events collectively represents the traditions found in the water towns of the Jiangnan region. Jiaxing Dragon Boat Festival customs were inscribed on China's national intangible cultural heritage list in 2011.
