What happens when a 25-meter dragon boat meets a channel barely 3 meters wide — with hairpin bends and no room for error?

This isn't a stunt. It's Diejiao, Foshan of South China’s Guangdong province, where dragon boat racing has become something far more intense: a breathtaking fusion of speed, precision, and courage.

From June 19 to 22, the 2026 Diejiao Dragon Boat Drift Race will ignite across four villages. "Better to crash than go slow" — that's not just a saying; it's the Foshan spirit, written on the water. Watch the video to learn more about it.
