The company also unveiled a limited-edition collection of handcrafted merchandise co-created with heritage artisans. Available at nearly 100 Starbucks Reserve stores nationwide, the collection incorporates elements of traditional craft techniques into everyday items such as tote bags, cardholders, T-shirts and decorative accessories.

For artisans, the collaboration creates new commercial opportunities while bringing traditional craftsmanship to a broader urban audience.

Chen Yanqiu, a bamboo-weaving inheritor from Tengchong, Yunnan province, said the program has helped local artisans gain market exposure and develop new approaches to preserving traditional skills.

Starbucks China has opened seven heritage-themed stores in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Guangdong province, and Tianjin. Many of the stores incorporate design elements created in collaboration with traditional artisans, reflecting local cultural traditions and regional craftsmanship.
