International delegates attending the 2026 Global Poverty Reduction and Development Forum recently traveled to Beijing's Pinggu district to get a firsthand look at how technology, agriculture and tourism are being integrated to promote rural vitalization.
At Beijing WOD Chen-Long Biotechnology, foreign guests gathered around baskets filled with eggs of different colors, pulling out their phones to photograph the display.
The company has built a modern poultry production system that integrates breeding, egg production, broiler production and hatchery operations.
Across its nationwide network of industrial parks, the entire production process is digitally managed, transforming traditional farming into a standardized, technology-driven operation, according to the company.
