Through the story, the film highlights the enduring bonds forged through cultural exchange and integration among different ethnic groups. The screening also underscored the close ties between the production and the Beijing Film Academy. Some members of the film's creative team are academy alumni, such as director Xirzat Yahup, who joined the college's Fine Art Department in 1985.

Zhang Jian, Party secretary of the Beijing Film Academy, described film as a universal language capable of crossing mountains and seas to touch people's hearts from different ethnic groups. He added that generations of the academy's teachers and students have created many acclaimed films that vividly portray unity, friendship and mutual support among the country's various ethnic groups.

Jing Luzhou, Party secretary of Tianshan Film Studio, said ethnic-themed films serve as important carriers of China's rich cultural heritage and expressed hope for deeper cooperation with the academy to bring more high-quality productions to wider audiences.
