New momentum
New Era, New Grace, New Momentum, now underway at Tsinghua University Art Museum, explores how university-level art education is responding to rapid social change and technological transformation. Marking the 70th anniversary of the Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University, the exhibition, on view through May 12, traces the evolution of the academy's curriculum. It invites reflection on aesthetics and its relationship to social ethics and values, while also examining how these ideas are put into practice.
Through case studies, student projects, graduation works and real-world collaborations, the exhibition highlights how teaching and creative work intersect in today's design and art education.
