As spring unfurls into summer, JW Marriott hotels worldwide revive a cherished ritual: the JW Garden Party. Inspired by the nature-centric philosophy of founder Alice Marriott, these gardens are far more than mere scenery—they are the birthplace of flavor and the root of culinary inspiration.

From 20 April to 8 May 2026, JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central partners with the historic Chongwenmen Market to reimagine a city landmark as a "Garden of Everyday Life." This two-week pop-up experience, titled From Garden to Table: A Culinary Journey from Soil to Soul, invites guests to trade the digital hum of modern life for the rhythmic beauty of the present.

As one of Beijing’s four iconic traditional markets, Chongwenmen is a living archive of the city's tastes and memories. Recently revitalized with a vibrant, youthful energy, it serves as the perfect canvas for this collaboration. Here, the fragrant rosemary and thyme of the JW Garden mingle with dew-kissed tomatoes and peppers fresh from the market stalls.

This partnership bridges the seasonal ethos of In Seasons by JW with the ancient Chinese wisdom of eating in harmony with nature. It is a quiet, powerful exchange of natural energy.

"Our hope is simple," says Mr. Wang Huan, General Manager of JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central. "We want our guests to step away from the endless to-do lists on their screens. Pick a bunch of greens. Breathe in the scent of fresh herbs. Let the lively pulse of the market ground you. In that moment, you aren't just shopping—you are learning to Stay in the Moment."

The vibrant herbs of the JW Garden are only the first chapter of this story. Throughout the event, a limited-edition menu will be available exclusively at JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central.

Each day, the hotel’s chefs will hand-select the finest ingredients directly from Chongwenmen Market, allowing them to "dance" with the signature herbs of the JW Garden. It is a tribute to freshness, a celebration of community, and a reminder that the best meals are those that feed both the body and the soul.
