The 11-day event features ecology exhibits, legal awareness sessions, and photo and painting shows. Bird-watching routes themed around coastal wetlands, Great Wall sites, and mountain-lake views were also unveiled to integrate ecotourism with local heritage.

Qinhuangdao is home to more than 510 bird species, 31 of which are under first-class national protection in China. Local authorities said wetland restoration and ecological governance have steadily improved bird habitats across the region.
