The Dunhuang-themed exhibition "Cave Dance", a fusion of technology and culture, has been presented at the library of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).
It was created by Professor Wang Zeyu's team at HKUST(GZ) in collaboration with CAMLab at Harvard University.
The exhibition brought the essence of Dunhuang in Northwest China's Gansu province to campus through digital recreations of the Mogao Grottoes and the iconic flying apsaras, standing as an innovative cross-disciplinary and cross-border practice in the fields of cultural heritage preservation and digital art creation.
