Unlike other megacities in China, Chongqing does not impose a blanket ban on motorcycles. Instead, it has cultivated a unique, well-integrated ecosystem that combines industry, culture, and urban governance for local enterprises to thrive.
The southwestern municipality has been hosting the China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition, Asia's largest motorcycle exhibition, for 23 years. In addition, it hosts several top-tier national motorcycle races.
