For Lithuanian vlogger Julija Bosianok, Yunnan province has always been the top recommendation on people's travel list. Recently, she traveled to Mangshi to discover the unique charm of this hidden border city firsthand.

She immersed herself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Munao Zongge Festival, joining thousands of locals in a grand celebration of dance and song. To the beat of joyful drums, people of different countries and ethnic groups held hands, laughing and dancing together in a moment of shared warmth and connection. Watching families of all generations celebrate together, Julija was deeply moved, noting that China is doing an exceptional job in preserving its cultural heritage.

Beyond the festival, Julija explored iconic landmarks like the Golden and Silver Pagodas, captivated by the stunning scenery. Her culinary journey was equally adventurous: she savored authentic Dai and Jingpo flavors — from traditional hand-grabbed rice and pounded dried beef to local insect delicacies.

This border journey left her profoundly amazed. As she put it, Yunnan, so highly praised by everyone, truly lived up to the hype.
