Chengdu High-tech Zone celebrates Lantern Festival with AI, talent showcase
The Chengdu High-tech Zone in Sichuan province hosted a Lantern Festival event on Tuesday evening, placing local talent and enterprises at center stage in a fusion of tradition and cutting-edge technology.
Among the highlights was a light show on the 52,000-square-meter LED screen of the iconic twin towers of the Tianfu International Financial Center. Created in collaboration with short-video platform Kuaishou's AI model, Keling, the light show consisted of seven holiday-themed chapters that unfolded on the 218-meter twin towers' facades.
Slogans from nearly 50 enterprises in the zone were projected onto the towers, making the companies the stars of the show.
Another highlight was a concert featuring songs written and performed by employees from the zone's electronic information, biomedicine, digital economy, and future technology sectors. In collaboration with AI, they debuted six songs inspired by their work and daily lives.
