An assembly of digital art archives, including images of artworks, drawings and manuscripts, as well as records of artists' landmark exhibitions, was recently donated to the China National Archives of Publications and Culture in Beijing.

The collection was compiled and donated by Artron Art Group, together with artists such as Jin Shangyi, Yuan Yunsheng and Zhang Lichen, among others.

The data are the result of the Artist Digital Archives System Project, jointly operated by Artron, art colleges and academic societies, as well as artists and their descendants. The initiative aims to establish comprehensive digital records for individual artists.
