Jingpo Lake Scenic Area in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang province, is renowned for its crystal-clear water and stunning volcanic landscapes.In winter,the Diaoshuilou Waterfall, located at the northern end of thelake, freezes into a 200-meter-wide icefall, forming a mesmerizing grand spectacle. Thrill-seekers dive from the cliff into the icy waters below, performing daring ice waterfall jumps.

Ancient fishing traditions are preserved and revitalized,merging with modern sports such as ice running and winter swimming, showcasing Mudanjiang's distinctive integration of culture, sports, and tourism.

This winter, Mudanjiang offers even more ways to enjoy ice and snow. The city has launched a series of winter sport events, with over 10 competitions selected for the provincial ice-and-snow sports super league (Bingchao). These events provide participants of all levels—from professional athletes to first-time visitors—with opportunities to engage in winter sports activities.

Beyond sports, Mudanjiang presents diverse cultural and scenic experiences. Visitors canexplore the historic streets of Suifenhe,enter the fairy-tale world of Snow Village,Hailin City, or admire the distinctive century-old Russian-style buildings in Hengdaohezi.

A winter filled with exploration and memorable experiences awaits in Mudanjiang.
