Exhibition featuring oriental traditional craftsmanship arrives at Columbia University
After kicking off at the United Nations Headquarters in New York earlier this month, an international touring exhibition focusing on oriental traditional craftsmanship and contemporary art has arrived at Columbia University and will continue until the end of this month.
The exhibition brings together more than 100 works of art and crafts from China and other countries and regions, covering various categories, including ceramics, embroidery, lacquer art, and metalwork.
Along with an international public art forum, the exhibition aims to use oriental craftsmanship as a starting point to explore topics such as cultural diversity, sustainable development, and cross-cultural dialogue in the context of globalization.
The event was organized by the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association and Shanghai University.
