Over 80 sculptures by younger-generation artists are now on display at the Beijing Working People's Cultural Palace, also known as the Imperial Ancestor Temple (Taimiao).

Built in the early 15th century, the Imperial Ancestor Temple was once the place where members of the ruling families of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties paid tribute to the family clans' predecessors.

Today, it is a major tourism destination where visitors can appreciate the majesty of classic Chinese architecture and the art exhibitions held there.

The show runs until Dec 4, showing its collaboration with the Chinese National Academy of Arts and examining the creative works of young artists.
