Korean China City Friendship Association chief: Takaichi's remarks threaten stability in East Asia

Kwon Kisik, president of the Korea China City Friendship Association, said in a recent interview with China Daily that Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's remarks on military intervention in Taiwan undermine the one-China principle and threaten peace in East Asia. He stressed that Taiwan is a part of China and that cross-Strait relations are China's internal affairs. Kwon warned that the anti-peace, far-right agitation endangering stability in Northeast Asia — and even world peace — must be prevented.
