The Liuyang Fireworks Festival, held in the city renowned as "China's fireworks capital" in Hunan province, set two new Guinness World Records, with breathtaking videos and photos igniting heated discussions online.

As part of the festival's sub-activities, two events showcased an extraordinary coordination between fireworks and drone formations.

During a daytime fireworks display, a fleet of drones carrying 7,496 fireworks set the record for the most unmanned aerial vehicles launching fireworks simultaneously.

Another event achieved a record for the most UAVs airborne simultaneously controlled by a single computer, with a staggering 15,947 drones taking to the sky, far surpassing the previous record of 10,197.
