China Eastern Airlines will launch a direct flight between Beijing and Muscat, the capital of Oman, on Nov 30, marking the first direct service operated by a Chinese carrier between the two cities, the Shanghai-based airline announced.
The Beijing–Muscat route will operate twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday, departing from Beijing Daxing International Airport and arriving at Muscat International Airport. The return flight will depart Muscat later the same day (local time).
The new service is expected to strengthen connectivity between China and Oman, facilitating economic cooperation, trade and cultural exchanges.
Tickets for the Beijing–Muscat flights are now available on China Eastern’s official website and mobile app.
