Munich beer festival returns to Beijing

The 32nd edition of Oktoberfest Beijing is underway at Paulaner Brauhaus in the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center, running through Oct 25.
For 16 days, the venue is hosting a traditional Bavarian-style celebration featuring German food, beer and live music. Each evening, the festival tent at Paulaner offers classic dishes such as roast pork knuckles, pretzels and handmade sausages, alongside the seasonal Goldenfest beer brewed for the occasion.

A live Bavarian band, Silberklang, has been invited to perform throughout the festival, leading guests in traditional sing-alongs and dancing that reflect the spirit of Munich's Oktoberfest.
Christian Wiendieck, managing director of Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center, said that they are thrilled to once again bring back the famous Oktoberfest tent and host a Bavarian band straight from the heart of Munich.
"It's always a joy to celebrate with guests from around the world, offering them an authentic taste of German culture in the vibrant atmosphere of Beijing," Wiendieck said.
