Festival highlights Great Wall culture
As part of the 2025 Beijing Great Wall Cultural Festival, the Huanghuacheng Great Wall special event officially launched on Sept 29 at the lakeside section's scenic area in Huairou district, Beijing.
Through a series of immersive and interactive cultural projects, the event offered domestic and international tourists a cultural feast that blended history, nature and art, vividly showcasing the timeless charm and contemporary appeal of Great Wall culture.
As an important component of the 2025 Beijing Great Wall Cultural Festival, this event showcased the unique landscape of the Huanghuacheng Great Wall, a section built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) in Beijing, the achievements in Great Wall conservation, and regional collaborative development, seeking to transform the presentation of Great Wall culture from static displays to dynamic experiences.
