Visual tech company unveils major culture and tourism strategy

Chinese visual tech company Leyard has launched a groundbreaking business model for its cultural tourism division Leafun, positioning the sector as a second growth curve and affirming its ambition to become a global leader in integrated tourism operations.
The strategy emphasizes dual development wings, four key drivers, and operational preplanning to capitalize on China's rapidly expanding tourism market.
The company will focus on high-quality tourism development and urban renewal as core strategic engines, it said at its 30th anniversary celebration in Beijing on Sept 19.
Leafun will strive to revitalize urban nightlife through immersive light shows, soundscapes and performances, and enhance museums, pavilions and theme parks through multimedia and interactive technologies, said Yuan Bo, chairman of the board of Leafun.
It will also integrate AI, holography and multisensory tech to redefine audience experiences at events like concerts and e-sports tournaments and drive commercial value through licensing, digital assets and creative product development.
