Senior political adviser in Guizhou under investigation
Tang Dezhi, a senior political adviser in Guizhou province, is under investigation for suspected severe violations of Party discipline and national laws, China's top disciplinary watchdogs said on Friday.
Tang, vice-chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was named in an announcement posted on the websites of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Supervisory Commission. The watchdogs did not provide any further details.
Public information shows that Tang, born in 1965, has spent most of his career in Guizhou and has served as secretary-general of the provincial government and Party secretary of Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, among other posts.
