Fairy Love, an immersive fantasy live show, opened at the ancient Dongtai town, within the Tianxianyuan scenic area, Jiangsu province, on July 1.

The live show tells the romantic story of Dong Yong who falls in love with celestial maiden, the Seventh Fairy — a classic Chinese myth. Directed by Gao Yan and Meng Ke, the show features high-flying aerial choreography, wire rigs simulating celestial armies, and cutting-edge spatial design to reconstruct the legendary divide between "heaven and earth".

From its premiere on July 1, the immersive live show continues its run at the scenic area, where modern storytelling gives new life to a thousand-year-old myth.
