Seventeen missing after mudslide on China-Nepal border

Seventeen people were reported missing following a mudslide on Tuesday near the Gyirong Port along the China-Nepal border in Gyirong county, Xizang autonomous region, Xinhua News Agency reported.
The disaster occurred around 5 am on Tuesday, as confirmed by authorities.
Among those missing, 11 were on the Chinese side of the border, while the remaining six were Chinese construction workers on the Nepali side.
