4 missing following flood in Northwest China

LANZHOU -- Four people have been reported missing as of 10:30 pm Monday following a mountain flood in Xinquan village of Jingyuan county, Northwest China's Gansu province, at approximately 6 pm the same day, according to local authorities.
Local authorities, including public security, emergency response, firefighting and communication departments, were swiftly mobilized to search for those missing and evacuate residents after the flood. Rescue operations, evacuations, risk assessments and other emergency measures are ongoing.
