Ginkgo Culture Festival opens at Liaodong University in Liaoning

The 13th Ginkgo Culture Festival kicked off on Saturday at Liaodong University in Dandong, Liaoning province, attracting teachers, domestic and international students, residents, tourists, alumni, and photographers to Ginkgo Avenue for an autumn rendezvous.

The two-day event featured a variety of activities. Students performed songs, dances, and traditional music. A cultural and creative market showcased ginkgo-themed bookmarks and hand-painted postcards. Charity sales and community services were conducted alongside, with Dandong's local delicacies attracting visitors.

Since its inception in 2014, Ginkgo Avenue has evolved from a campus landscape into a cultural landmark for the city.

The university remains committed to opening its campus and serving the local community, integrating leaf viewing, performances, cultural creations, cuisine, and charitable experiences.
