Guangdong bus accident kills two

A coach bus crossed the central divider of an expressway and collided with a mountainside on Monday evening in Zhaoqing, Guangdong province, killing two passengers and leaving two others seriously injured, according to local traffic police.

The bus was traveling from Yilong of Sichuan province to Shenzhen, Guangdong. The accident occurred around 6 am in the Gushui section of the Erenhot – Guangzhou Expressway in Guangning county of Zhaoqing.

Efforts are underway to treat the injured, investigate the accident, and complete post-accident management, the local traffic police said.
