China in Hues, a six-episode documentary that highlights the delicate use of color in traditional Chinese craftsmanship and its cultural connotations, premiered earlier in April.

Led by director Chen Xiaoqing, known for his culinary documentary series A Bite of China and Once Upon a Bite, the production team spent a year traveling across various parts of the country to capture colors produced through traditional methods, rather than those achieved with chemical means, and how they are applied in traditional craftsmanship.

The documentary is currently airing weekly on the streaming platform Tencent Video.
