Music festival breaks records and bridges cultures

The 2025 BUBBLING & BOILING Music & Arts Festival · Tianjin set a new domestic record for three-day music festival ticket sales, drawing over 100,000 attendees from May 2 to May 4 during the May Day holiday. The event generated also more than 60 million yuan ($8.3 million) in consumption across surrounding industries such as accommodation, transportation and dining.
A total of 34 artists and performers from outside China — including the United States, Norway, Japan — became a highlight of the event, offering audiences a diverse and international experience. Nearly half of them performed for the first time at a large-scale festival in China.
