As summer approaches, Starbucks China announces a high-profile collaboration with Taiwan rock band Mayday, who will serve as the brand's official Summer Ambassador. The partnership marks the start of a series of creative initiatives designed to infuse the season with music, emotion and refreshing new flavors.

Central to the campaign is the short film Mayday in Your Heart, in which the band's five members share heartfelt reflections on what "Mayday" means to them.

For some, it's the freedom to endlessly strum a guitar and sing; for others, it represents poetry, youth, warmth and unity. The film emphasizes a recurring message — true brightness isn't found in the weather but in one's heart.

To complement the campaign, Starbucks introduces a line of summer beverages, including the strawberry cheesecake popping pearl Frappuccino, Belgian dark chocolate Frappuccino, and triple cheese latte, each crafted to offer a refreshing escape from the summer heat.

Starting April 29, customers who purchase a Grande or larger size of any new Frappuccino will have a chance to receive a limited-edition Mayday-themed collectible card.

On Monday, Starbucks unveiled its redesigned location at the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai is transformed into an immersive Mayday-themed space, featuring striking visual installations, interactive displays, and a curated playlist of the band's greatest hits, offering fans and coffee lovers alike a full sensory experience that blends music with Starbucks' signature ambiance.
