Chongqing court issues guidelines to improve elderly services

The Banan District People's Court of Chongqing has issued the municipality's first guideline to enhance litigation services for the elderly by improving procedures and support to better meet their needs.
The court said the guideline presents a range of measures that prioritize the needs of the elderly and enhance the litigation service environment.
These include setting up elderly-friendly court facilities, dedicated service zones and specialized trial courts. Customized services will be provided based on health and cognitive capabilities. A diverse network for elderly protection aims to support individuals facing unique challenges.
