Finland says bye to two giant pandas

The giant pandas Hua Bao and Jin Baobao, residing at the Ahtari Zoo in Finland, safely returned to Chengdu, Sichuan province on Saturday after friendly consultations between the Chinese and Finnish parties, according to the China Wildlife Conservation Association.
The male panda Hua Bao was born in July 2013, and the female panda Jin Baobao was born in September 2014. The two pandas arrived in Finland in 2018.
The association stated that to ensure the safe and smooth return of the two pandas, China dispatched experienced experts to Finland in advance to assist with their care.
These experts familiarized themselves with the pandas' living habits and care routines, collaborated with Finnish experts on behavior training, routine health checks, and health assessments, and accompanied the pandas on their flight back to China along with Finnish caretakers.
