"I happened to come to Macao at the time when everything (here) was changing dramatically," said Timothy A. Simpson, an associate professor in the Department of Communication, Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Macao. Having taught in Macao for 23 years, Simson said the university is growing rapidly and has provided him with a lot of opportunities in academia. With more convenient visa polices for foreign Macao residents, he plans to travel to more places in the Chinese mainland.
