Building collapse claims lives of three workers in Liaoning

According to the Xihu district government of Benxi city, Liaoning province, three construction workers died in a building collapse on Thursday afternoon.

The collapse occurred when the Benxi Sheng'an Construction Engineering Company was conducting renovation and reinforcement work on an abandoned paper mill building in Xihu district. By 2:40 pm on Nov 8, all three trapped workers had been found and sent to a hospital where they were confirmed dead.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, and follow-up measures are being implemented.
