BEIJING -- Li Jiping, a former vice-president of China Development Bank, has been arrested on suspicion of bribery, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said on Monday.
Upon the designation of the SPP, the Henan Provincial People's Procuratorate ordered the arrest of Li, also a former member of the bank's committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The case was handed over to the prosecutors for examination and prosecution following the conclusion of an investigation carried out by the National Commission of Supervision, the SPP said.
Li has been expelled from the CPC, according to an official statement released earlier this month.
