Torrential rain claims lives in Dalian

Two people lost their lives in Jinpu New Area of Dalian, Liaoning province, on Monday morning as torrential rain wreaked havoc, leading to flooding in parts of the city, according to CCTV News.
The sudden downpour overwhelmed several road sections, prompting local authorities to activate emergency flood response measures, including rescue operations for individuals and vehicles.
By noon, the affected road segments had largely reopened for traffic, with efforts underway to relocate damaged vehicles.
