Former Jiangxi official faces corruption probe

Hong Lihe, a former senior official in the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Jiangxi Province, is under investigation for suspected serious violations of Party discipline and laws, according to an official statement made on Wednesday.
The investigation is being carried out by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
