During the premiere in Beijing on Thursday, Xiao, reflecting on his portrayal of the police officer, shared that his father's background as a law enforcement officer had provided him with invaluable insight into the character's challenges, particularly in navigating a midlife crisis and upholding a steadfast belief in justice.
