Senior official of Guangxi under supervisory investigation

Qin Rupei, former member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and former vice chairman of the Guangxi regional government, is suspected of serious legal and disciplinary violations, and currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, issued by its official website on Tuesday evening.
Qin Rupei was born in October 1962 in Jiangkou, Guizhou province, and had long served in Guizhou.
He currently served as a member of the Party Group of the Guangxi regional government and the region's secretary of the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission before the investigation.
