Toddler murdered by own mother in Chongqing
A 3-year-old was murdered by his mother as she tossed him out of a high-rise apartment window on Monday in Southwest China's Chongqing, the local police said.
According to the local police, at around 7 am on Monday, a woman, 37, surnamed He, entered into a state of acute mania at her home, which is on the 22nd floor of an apartment building in the city's Banan district.
The woman injured her mother-in-law with a kitchen knife and then threw her 3-year-old son out of the apartment window, leading to the toddler falling to his death.
The injured victim mother-in-law is receiving treatment at a local hospital and is not in critical condition. He has been brought under control by the police.
