Three-Body set to release English version in US

Three-Body, a popular sci-fi series adapted from Hugo Award-winning novelist Liu Cixin's novel The Three-Body Problem, will release an English-dubbed version on Peacock, the streaming service of NBCUniversal, in the United States on Feb 10, the first day of the Year of the Dragon, announced the producers on Wednesday.

According to Tencent Video, all episodes of the drama, featuring Chinese actors Zhang Luyi and Yu Hewei as a scientist and a former police officer, respectively, will be simultaneously released on the service.

With its bold imagination and a story rooted in Chinese culture, the drama has achieved a rating of 8.7 out of 10 on the popular review aggregator Douban. It has garnered over 10 million viewers and has been watched for more than 2.6 million hours on Tencent Video's overseas channel on YouTube.
