House fire kills 3, injures 1 in South China

NANNING -- Three people were killed and one injured after a house caught fire in Baise city, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region early on Friday, according to the local fire rescue team.
The fire broke out at around 2 am in Matou township and a total of 11 people were pulled out. Three people died later after medical treatment failed and one suffered critical but no life-threatening injuries. The fire has been extinguished by 3:04 am.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
