Liu Haisu Art Museum to host Shanghai Youth Art Exhibition

The 17th Shanghai Youth Art Exhibition will be held from Oct 21 to Nov 29 at Liu Haisu Art Museum.

Jointly hosted by Liu Haisu Art Museum, the Shanghai Artists' Association and the Shanghai Youth Literature and Arts Federation, the exhibition will showcase 169 artworks by young artists from China and abroad.

Many important artists in the contemporary art scene, including Yu Xiaofu, Ding Yi, and Cai Guoqiang have risen in fame since showcasing their works at the biennial exhibition, which was founded in 1980.

This year's exhibition will focus on pioneering art forms such as installation, video, animation and illustration.
