Chint holds energy industry conference in Shanghai
Experts and scholars from more than 60 countries around the world gathered online and offline for a global development conference about the future of the energy industry which opened in Shanghai on Oct 11.
Themed "Empower a Boundless Energy World", the conference is a biennial event hosted by Chint, a global smart energy solutions provider based in Yueqing, Wenzhou in Zhejiang province.
The event, which featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and virtual factory tours, delved into global energy trends and facilitated the exchange of insights into global energy trends, cooperative practices, emerging challenges and future opportunities.
"Chint is keen to share our innovative practices in green technology, intelligent power equipment, and end-to-end solutions with our partners," said Nan Cunhui, chairman of Chint Group, in his speech about the company's digitalization and green low-carbon development practices.
A panel discussion themed "opportunities and challenges for global businesses in the new era" was also held during the event. Mattie Bekink, China Director of the Economist Corporate Network, led discussions with industry experts and scholars that touched on the latest trends and future directions of climate change and sustainable development.
Activities aimed at connecting supply chain elements in the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor industrial chain were also held during the conference, which will run till Oct 14.
