2 dead, 10 injured in East China building collapse

NINGBO - Two people died, and 10 others were injured after a steel-structure building collapsed on Wednesday morning in Ningbo city, East China's Zhejiang province, according to the local emergency management bureau.
The incident occurred at 8:31 am, trapping 12 people in the premises of a cosmetic packaging company in Simen township in the county-level city of Yuyao, which is under the jurisdiction of Ningbo.
They have since been found by rescuers, with two fatalities and three people in critical condition. All 10 who sustained injuries are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Relief work and an investigation into the cause of the incident are underway.
