Floods and mudslides kill 4 in Xi'an

Floods and mudslides caused by torrential rains on Friday in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, have killed four people by Sunday, cnr.cn reported on Sunday, citing local emergency authorities.
The disaster hit Weiziping village in Chang'an district of the city shortly after 6 pm on Friday.
A team of armed police officials, including more than 100 members, that arrived at the site on Friday night have relocated 81 people and 11 vehicles and searched 65 kilometers of river banks by Sunday morning, according to the report.
