He Yong, minister-counselor of the Chinese embassy in Spain, said in his address that the Madrid "Summers of the City" Art Festival is of great significance for deepening cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Spain.
He also hoped to show the Spanish people a new look of contemporary China through the excellent works of young artists.
